Cujo 40 inch leashes are built with 12 inches of Shock Absorbing Stretch. Slightly-less tight and longer stretch gives the owner the most Comfort and Control over the hard pulling Small Dog or the Medium and Large Dogs that do not pull.

I tried your Cujo leash for the first time today and I was QUITE impressed! I must admit that I had a tiny bit of skepticism looking at the Cujo and trying to imagine what it would be like with my 90lb AmStaff. Well, I'm pleased to say that all the skepticism flew out the window!!! I took him on the road and it went beautifully. When my dog got distracted and did an occasional tug (and you can imagine a dog that size doesn't exactly give a gentle pull), the Cujo leash tremendously softened what would otherwise have been a shoulder-jerk. It gave enough play not to jolt but was still firm enough to maintain excellent control.
I'm so pleased with Cujo, that I ordered a Big Boy Neo Collar. I've definitely become an EZYDOG sort of owner! Thank you SO much.

I have a small service dog (Min Pin) and she accompanies me to school (and everywhere else I go for that matter). I use the Cujo, with an extension. I attach the extension to my beltloop with a carbiner using the swivel (hooking it to the ring)looping it through the handle of the cujo. This allows Mia to be linked to me even if my hands are full, and I have easy access to the handle should I need it to guide her.

I find the CUJO dog leash to be a very comfortable solution to other leashes. I walk our Dalmation, (Princess) and our Doberman, (Duchess) everyday with your product. I walk a lab and a cattle dog, the lab jerks forward on the lead everytime she picks up the scent of something interesting jerking my shoulder and my back would seriously click every time. On recommodation from my pet store I bought a cujo, extention leads, collars and harness's for the pair.
I can walk both of them easy, no more tangles, my lab still jerks forward but the bungee takes up the slack. Best thing ever! Highly recommend it.

Love the leash! I have had the Cujo for at least 4 years now. I am here to look at purchasing a different color (Chocolate).
My only problem is that with a few years of use I have found that this leash has faded slightly in color and it has lost some elasticity. I don't use it everyday, leave it in the sun or use it in any strange manner to cause the above mentioned problems.
Overall is very easy to use, very comfortable and rather stylish. I gave it a 9 rating because it is not yet PERFECT.

We have two young Jack Russells so you can imagine what walking on separate leashes is like!! The cujo with two extensions is perfect. They actually behave better together with the cujo than with two people walking them seperately. Plus they are easily tethered when we take them out to lunch!!!Absolutely would not consider anything else.

I just received the new leash in the mail last week, and we already LOVE IT! Best leash ever! My Chinese shar-pei has an identity crisis, she thinks she is an Alaskan Malamute and pulls like a sled dog! This leash has helped her regain her identity tremendously!

We bought our cujo at the Saturday Market 4 years ago for our pitbull BAM. He gets excited when we pull it out and we love that it gives us the control we need when we take him for walks. Dear Ezy Dog,
Today I purchased a Cujo 40 inch leash, I was always saying to my husband it would be nice to find a leash that was shock absorbing with some stretch in it. I went to Total Pet in Vernon, BC and I came across your leash.
I have a sever neck and back injury, and have the most wonderful dog named Tasha who does not appreciate other dogs so unlike our other dog Wrangler I have to keep her on a leash at all time. Due to my injuries I always found it so hard to take them for walk I have spent a lot of money we didn't have on Hulti Collars, Harnesses, and Chains to be able to walk them with out pain. Plus Tasha does like to pull at times.
Today was the first time in three years that I was able to walk her with out pain, THANK YOU so much for designing such a leash!
I look forward to purchasing your Sparky Coupler 15 when I can afford to, so I am able to take both dogs into town at the same time together.

I have both the Cujo and the Mutley. My dog doesn't really pull much (unless there's an irressistable scent that I somehow didn't notice) but I run with him and this gives us both more flexibility and leeway. And, I love that you can build your leash as short or as long as you want, depending on the circumstance. These leashes are brilliant.

I'm a dog control officer & was finding that bigger dogs were beginning to pull me off my feet. S\I saw the Cujo, read the blurb, bought it & trialled it out - LOVE IT!
I get lots of comments about it; people love the design, the handle is much easier to get a good grip on & with shock absorption you don't feel like your arm's about to come off!!

I recently acquired what must be the 40" shock leash and 2 - 25" extensions so I can walk my 2 Beagles, Ginger and Fred, without my arm feeling as though it is being ripped out of the socket.
Needless to say, Fred & Ginger do not "heel" and true to their nature want to go where their noses lead, when they decide to go.
Ginger did not necessarily enjoy being led around by Fred, but I felt much better after the first walk and the others we have taken. I am purchasing another set for the other person who keeps them occasionally.

I can control two (yes, two) large young dogs with it by moving my elbow in. The Cujo leash is easy on the human body (no more shoulder yanks) and the elastic nature of the lead is gentle on the dog. I recommend it to every dog owner I know.

My review is under the Sparky Coupler 15, but I love the Cujo which I have partnered with the Sparky Coupler. This works great, is easy on your hands and I have people stop and ask what it is. I use two Cujo's with couplers to walk 4 miniature dachshunds. I work in rescue, so there are always dogs to walk.

We bought these leash at pet expo and ended up ordering another on line (after the new puppy thought it also made a good chew toy) It is the best especially when we go to busy places Pet Smart or the doggy functions keeps the girls close with having to wrap the leash around my hands ten times. Very comfortable grip. Just ordered the mutley for the morning jogs.

I bought an EzyDog Cujo leash for my 35-pound Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She pulls like she weighs twice that - she's very muscular with short legs, so there's a lot of power in her. I love this leash. She walks quietly with me now instead of dragging me all over the neighborhood!

This leash is actually making it easier to train my hard-pulling golden to heal! She has been a terrible puller with all other leashes and hated the Gentle Leader mouth guard. But she absolutely loves walking with this leash and for the first time ever, behaves like a well trained dog (most of the time -- we're still working on it). It makes walking her so much easier than the retractable leash or any other one. Best leash and I highly recommend!!!!!

This thing is unbelievable. The ski rope handle is incredibly comfortable, and the shock absorption is the way EVERY leash should be. Alas, this is the only one I have ever found that has it...better get one for you and your hound. We have several dogs, and only this one leash, it works just well with a "Y" splitter on the end. When both dogs are pulling, the leash eats up all the "pull"!

I found this leash in a very small pet "boutique" in Portland, Oregon and hoped it would solve a problem with my "Beardie". Nothing I had tried had kept her comfortably under control. Wrapping a leash around the wrist proved to be painful. This leash with it's ski rope type handle is so easy and with the little bit of give in the leash lets her have a little freedom without the loss of control, She settles down much more quickly making for a much more enjoyable walk. We recently went up camping in Morro Bay, CA and found a store (Animal House) that was selling the Cujo leash. I love this thing! My 37 Lbs Boston Oliver pulls like a train, low to the ground with lots of torque. The Cujo spring action and the grip, make this a much more comfortable leash than any other on the market.

I was given a Cujo leash as a gift from my mother in an attempt to save my arm and back from the incredibly strong yanking of a crazy 75lb labrador retriever named Rowdy. The handle is great because it is so soft and comfortable and doesn't dig into your hand and leave blisters like other nylon or leather leashes do. With the 25" length I find it perfect for my dog who is of a medium-large build and height. The cujo is not so long that I have to wrap it around my hand and just short enough to allow some slack to the leash when he is not pulling and some major restraint when he is. I have since ordered 2 more as backups (plus I like the variety of colors). I highly recommend this for strong pullers like mine and non pullers alike as the handle is so comfortable and the "shock absorbing" motion saves not only your muscles and joints, but your dogs as well.

I GOT ONE OF THESE LEASHES FOR MY BRAND NEW 2 YEAR OLD (EXTREMELY UNTRAINED) STAFFY THAT I GOT FROM THE POUND. IT'S THE BEST LEASH EVER AND IT KEEPS HIM CLOSE BY AND WITHIN 4 WALKS HE DOESN'T EVEN TRY TO GET AWAY. We have gone through so many leashes with our mastiff - This leash is awesome! It is excellent for large dogs that pull. It keeps Roxy close by and does not hurt my arm when she pulls. It gives you better control over your dog and helps them learn to heel the gentle way.
Once you try it you will never go back to a regular leash.

We stumbled across your leash in a store in Lake Tahoe, CA. We love it, and our only regret was not purchasing the mongrel handle when we purchased this leash. We have a Mastiff, an American Bulldog & a Rott/Bull Mastiff mix. All huge! The mastiff is only a year old and already 160lbs! This leash gave him too much freedom-but was perfect for the other two fellas. So I came back to get the handle so we could get control over the Mastiff on walks. Most companies do not make products large enough to accommodate such a large dog-& we are grateful to of found you guys! Keep up the hard work~

I've tried other "Bungee" leashes and let me tell you nothing compares to my Cujo 25! I was hestitant to make my purchase as my other bungee leash was more of a slingshot than a shock absorber! I just purchased my second leash of this type with extensions. I have an Old English Sheepdog who weighs about 80 lbs and Black Russian Terrier who is 120. This is the only leash system I can use to walk them together as the other ones would cause the dogs to drag me around, or when I finally got control of them give my hands and upper back some severe pain. Even though they still pull a bit, uit's manageable and nothing like using a traditional lead. I highly recommend to anyone who needs control with their dogs but may be outweighed or out muscled by them.

My Boston Terrier Chester is three years old and weighs 35 lbs. I am pretty small, and he is VERY strong. A few months ago, I purchased a more expensive brand of "bungee" leash online. I was disappointed by the homemade appearance of the leash, and although it worked fine on daily walks, it broke the moment we put it to the test (chasing ducks into a creek).
This leash ROCKS. It is a very cool, rugged, durable looking leash. The grip is comfortable and maneuverable. With the EzyDog harness and Cujo leash, I have complete control. I am ordering an extension today because it works so well that I think I can give Chester a little more running room.

Two weeks ago I got a dog, an 18-pound Min Pin/Chi mix. I didn't think walking it would be a problem, so I bought a harness and retractable leash from a popular pet store chain. Well, I did not know that he loved to chase squirrels, rabbits, and any other wildlife in the walking trails in our neighborhood!! He almost pulled my arm out of the socket many times jerking on the leash.
Now enter Modern Dog magazine, where I saw an ad for the Ezydog leash and harness. I was intrigued. I checked out the website and read the reviews and immediately ordered the Cujo leash and the small harness. Needless to say, I love both!!
The shorter leash forces my dog to stay only a little ways in front of me or for me to walk faster (which is always good exercise) and when he pulls, I am in not in pain, and he bounces right back. And the harness does not move all around like the other one did. A very good fit. I would recommend this leash and harness to anyone who walks their dog.

What started out as a cute little puppy turned into 70lbs of socket wrenching puller from hell. I haven't been able to control my labrador retriever on a leash near any other people or pets since he was about six months old. My mom got me a cujo leash for my birthday this year and it is by far the best thing that has ever happened to my dog and I. I clipped it onto his harness this morning and took him for a stress free walk, we even walked past someone with another dog! It's so cushioned and has just enough give to absorb all the shock, not your arm!!!! I have the 25" and it's just the perfect size to rest your arm by your side and go. We're getting another lab in about a year and I plan on stockpiling these babies before then. Best leash ever!!!!

I've been using this leash for the past 6 months with my Service Dog. The grip is so comfortable, even after I've been carrying it all day. I no longer have wrist strain from using a traditional leash.
The length is perfect for using with my service dog. It keeps him close to me, while still giving him some space. No more shortening nylon leashes.
The bungee allows my dog to move freely without straining my shoulder, and the reflective tape gives us added visibility in parking lots. It also matches is service vest!
I've enjoyed this leash so much that I bought an extender to use for casual walks. My parents tried the leash and bought one for their dogs along with a coupler, and my sister may be getting one for her dog as well.
Overall it's an extraordinary product at an excellent price!

I saw this leash and thought, "Hmm how interesting! Wonder what people are saying about this leash." Went to the web and saw the glowing reviews.
I went back the next day and bought two leashes - one for my Boston Terrier (a VERY BIG TUGGER) and the other one for my Beagle (a big DRAGGER since she loves to sniff everything).
I took my Boston for a walk and let me tell you...my arm felt great and I had a much better control. He was tired at the end of the walk instead of me. I have recommended this leash every where I go with my dogs.

This is the best leash for a dog that have high prey drive like my retriever. I had mine for over a year and I can't tell you how much better my shoulder feels! It's like having a shock absorber built into your arm! And the handle provides a firm grip just in case you're daydreaming on your walk and your canine friend spots a squirrel and launched into overdrive!

I was adopting my first 2 pugs weighing 22lbs each, when ezydog was at the fair. I was very impressed with the tangle free sytem and good shock absorption especially when both of them are pulling me at the same time. I got a lot of compliment with it too. &It is the best leash I have ever had for a dog. Zoe is a shepard/chow mix and she loves walks but can pull away from our 9 and 12 yr old. With the Cujo Zoe can pull all she wants and she can't pull away from them with the handle on the leash. If you want a great leash that is stylish and your dog can't pull away from you get one of these. Also go with the color to match collar.

I bought the Cujo at the state fair this summer. I have a well behaved lab. We run 3-5 miles every morning rain or shine. I love the feel of the leash on my hand, especially if it rains and it is soo light. Wish I had this leash many years ago with my Akita.

I have a dog that is paranoid and afraid of everything, but he loves his walks. As much as we love him, the constant jerking on our arms as he runs this way and that way made us ready to just leave him at home until we found the Cujo. I am now going to try the Mongrel and Mongrel extentions so that our other dog doesn't get whiplash from the dual leash we are currently using.

i recently began fostering a beagle who was unfortunately never walked on a leash before and was constantly choking himself.
i first tried a retractable least that was supposed to hold dogs up to 55 pounds, that broke within 2 weeks even thought my dog is only around 25 pounds. then i had to use the regular leash which was okay for a few days until he chewed it up.
so i set out to target to get tons of chew toys and a new leash. i had no idea if this leash would work for Copper but it did! he still pulls but i don't feel it as much and he rarely chokes himself.
i highly recommend this leash to anyone with a dog!!!

I have an 84lb Golden Retriever who seems to see every hidden cat in the neighborhood while we are on our walks. I have tripped and fallen in mud puddles, twisted ankles, skinned knees, etc. And I seem to have a constant aching pain in my leash-holding shoulder. But I love my dog, so I've been putting up with it for 7 years. The pain I feel, he makes up for in kisses.
As I was breezing through the dog section at Target the other day, I happened to see this leash. I picked it up and thought to myself, "would this help with the dog walk issues?" I figured if it didn't help, I could return it. And the next day there was a dog fair I planned on attending so it would be a perfect time to test the leash out.
Wow O Wow!!! It felt like He-Man had suddenly stepped in to help assist on the restraint of my dog! Like never before, I could really control him with this leash. I actually witnessed him sitting with out my having to sternly command him to after he felt the strength the leash gave me. I have to say he still did pull. But with this leash, I could control him, it was not a no-win struggle with wonder dog.
I wish I had this leash years ago when I lived near a busy street where I was constantly afraid he would over take me and run into traffic. For that kind of situation, this leash is a dream. I had no worries that he would get away from me.
I would highly recommend this leash for any one who has a pulling dog monster like mine.

I have 2 Beagles who have been pulling my arm off for years! Bought the Cujo leashes yesterday and Love Them! The bungee makes the dog spring back to you instead of pulling your arm out of the socket. Whickever way they pull they keep coming back to you. I took my two young boxers for two walks yesterday--one before the Cujo lead and two Mongrel extensions arrived and one after. What a difference!! With my standard nylon leash and rigged-up coupler we had to stop every 5 minutes and untangle legs, tails, heads, whatever. With the Cujo/Mongrel combo the problems vanished almost completely. The stress from their competitive pulling was also much relieved! Plus it looks way cool! Kudos to the design team that came up with this!

I ride the exercise bike most mornings, but it can be boring. Meanwhile, our dog is neglected. So I thought recently that I ought to buy a leash and take Barkley for more walks. At Target yesterday, the leash and collar display was a ghost town. Not a single one to be had. But, there was this curious thing laying on a shelf by itself. Part leash, part bungee cord and part water-ski handle grip, it looked intriguing and I thought I'd give the EZY DOG LEASH a try. It was either that or some Michael Graves rubber lead that looked too much like the indestructible chew doy Barkely consumed parts of yesterday.
Gotta say, this thing is awesome. The grip is very easy to hold and the bungee action in the lead takes all the shock out of the lurches of our mastadon/dog.
We'll see what my arms and shoulders have to say about it tomorrow, but combined with her pinch collar, this leash was very effective at keeping the dog where I wanted her, for the most part. The rest will be training, consistency and time until she learns to walk at my side. WOW! i just bought this leash and it is amazing! I was so tired from the tugging & pulling from my dog on the regular leash.. i was worn out before the walk even started!
this leash is just great!! if you have a dog who is a bit excitable and likes to tug and pull around while on the leash u will love this!

Just like the Mongrel these leads offer great comfort for the dogs, good comfort for you, very good control and different lengths for different uses.
Don't waste your time with the chain store products which are often more expensive, certainly not as strong, not half as attractive and certainly not as good as these for your dog. Both this and the Mongrel model are top notch and it really is a matter of personal preference as to which you should buy. Use the Cujo as a short lead, long lead, multiple leads, whatever.
Likewise do not waste your money on similar products which cost twice as much and are supposedly "custom designed" for your dog, his weight and God knows what else. Trust me I tried those, after waiting forever for delivery and they are a waste of money. I have two dogs about 40 lbs and they busted through these in no time depiste all sorts of claims, videos, etc by the manufacturer.
Customer service is very good, helpful and delivery quick.

I recently purchased one of these leashes with 2 extensions to walk my 2 dogs...a 90-lb golden retriever, and a 55-lb mix. I have complete control, they have their space without straying too far, and they never get tangled! Love it!!!

I love the cujo leash. My big 85 pound girl was so hard to controll, but with the cujo me and my little sister can easily walk her. I plan on buying one for my lab pup.
